Aisling Bea

Aisling bea was born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984 is the richest and most well-known comedian. Bea was on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, more popularly known as the stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984), is an Irish actress, writer and stand-up comic. Bea's professional career started in 2011 as a comedian after appearing in small roles for Irish and British TV shows that began in 2009. Bea began performing frequently on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms from 2012. In 2012, following her won an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) and began to be featured often in various panel programs. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016-2017 and is an ongoing contestant on its spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Parents include Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. She has a younger sister, Sinead. She was the only female to win So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. She uses the surnamed Bea to honor her late father. Aisling O'Sullivan, also referred to as Cliodhnadh Aisling was born in Kildare town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian is an equine veterinarian who committed suicide when she was just three. Bea didn't learn how her father passed away until she turned thirteen. The stage name she chose was Bea as a tribute to her father. She also wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about her family's experience of suicide. Bea's mother Helen was also a trainer for jockeys as well as a former professional jockey was responsible for taking care of her and Sinead. They were both passionate about racing, horses and the racing industry. In her youth Bea employed as an assistant tour guide in the Irish National Stud however she was aware from an early age that she was not interested in the racing industry as a career and instead loved performing.
